Intramural Online Registration Begins February 8th
Dear Community Member:
With Spring just around the corner, outdoor youth activities will soon be taking place. Why not enroll your child in one of the fastest growing health and exercise programs around ... Soccer! We offer a fun-filled quality soccer program that we are sure you and your family will enjoy.
Our summer soccer program runs from June 7th through the first week in August and is based on teaching the fundamentals of youth soccer, presented in a positive way that makes it fun for everyone involved. This is a non-competitive program, which simply means we don't keep track of score, nor do we keep a record of wins and losses. We provide each child a t-shirt with a number on it so that they can be part of a "team". All of our games are played behind Pennridge North Middle School (formerly the Freshman Center).
Intramural registration is open to all players 4 years and up. Online registration runs through April 30th. Walk-in registration is held on February 27th, March 27th and April 10th at the First Savings Bank of Perkasie (next to Shelly’s) from 9 AM til noon. Pictures are taken the week of June 14th. New this year:
For those who sign up early, the Yellowjackets will hold three days of optional instruction and games for both players and coaches. Dates are April 25th, May 9th, and May 23rd. Please sign up as early as possible. This will give your child and the volunteer coach the opportunity to get a head start and meet the travel coaches at the Yellowjackets.
For all of you grownups who have expressed interest in playing soccer this year, we will also have a co-ed league. This league will be noncompetitive but a great chance of getting into shape. Fee per adult $75.00
4th Annual Officer David Petzold Memorial Tournament
Thanks to all who made this tournament a success. This year we raised $5000.00 and the Petzold family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude. We look forward to seeing you all back next year. This years Adult division winner was the Pennridge Hilltown United team and included our club President. Team members are Frank Demas Sr., Frank Demas Jr., Ryan Hess and Brian Ferrell 
Board or Directors Vote Cost Saving Messures for Members
Pennridge Yellowjackets Soccer Association announces an economic stimulus package of its own. Due to the current economic conditions the board of directors has passed a resolution reducing the costs of its fall soccer program. Board member Gunther Nugent who is the Travel Coordinator for the Yellowjackets is quoted “The local community has supported our programs for over 30 years and we as a board decided to give something back in the way of a reduction of our fees for our travel program this fall. In short, Travel Registration was lowered to $50 from $110 if you have participated in the program in the past. If a child who played travel registers for the Intramural program this year and is participating in the fall, registration will be lowered to $25 and anyone in our Intramural program this year and is a first time Travel player, regardless of age, their Travel registration fee will be waived.”
