A. By non-competitive, we do not keep track of scores or wins and losses.

Q3. Do you offer a more competitive program?

A. Yes, we have travel teams that compete against other clubs in the surrounding area (Bucks County, Montgomery County, Lehigh Valley). Please contact the PYSA travel coordinator at [email protected] if you would like more details on the travel program.

Q4. I’m not ready for travel; do you have any other program to help develop my child for travel?

A. Yes, we have a Fall Developmental Program. The purpose of the program is to teach ball skills for players interested in pursuing additional training and who might be interested in travel.

A. Our summer intramural program runs from the beginning of June to mid-July.

Q6. How many weeks does the intramural season run?

A. The season is typically six weeks of games.

Q7. How is the intramural soccer program organized?

A. The program is currently broken down into co-ed age divisions* based on birth year.

For the 2023 Summer and Fall Intramural programs, we will be accepting birth years 2010-2019.

*We may combine multiple birth years into a single division, or break out a birth year by gender, based on the number of registrations.

A. Registration can be done on-line for both credit card and check payments.

Q9. When is registration?

Q11. Do you offer in-person registration?

A. We are in the process of scheduling in-person registrations.  In the meantime, for further assistance please contact the PYSA Intramural Coordinator at [email protected].

Q12. Is there an early bird discount?

A. Yes, please see the registration page for more details.

Q13. I would like my child to play with a friend. Can we request to have them on the same team?

A. We will try to accommodate requests as much as possible for early-bird and regular registrations.  Late registrations will be difficult to accommodate requests.  We reserve the right to deny request when they have the possibility of impacting the competitive balance of teams.

Q14. How can I get involved?

A. Our intramural program is successful thanks to all the volunteers. We are always looking for volunteer coaches.  You can sign up to volunteer the same way you would register your child as a participant, or you can email the PYSA Intramural Coordinator at  [email protected] for more information.

Q15. When are team practices?

A. Practices are determined by the volunteer coach.  Our program includes 15 minutes scheduled for training before each game for age groups 4 – 8 years old.

Q16. Where are the games played?

A. Games are played on the Pennridge North Middle School fields, located at 1500 North 5th St., Perkasie, PA 18944.

Q17. When are games played?

A. Games are played on Monday - Wednesday evenings (with Thursday as the rain makeup).  You may play one, two, or three times on any given week, depending how the schedule works out.

Q18. What happens if a game is cancelled due to inclement weather?

A. Games will be made up as soon as possible as the schedule allows. For games played during the week, we will try to reschedule the games later the same week if possible. If the second half of a game has started and weather stops the game, that game will not be rescheduled.   For weekend games, we will either reschedule during the following week or add it to the end of the season on a weekend.

Q19. How is notification of game cancellations done?

A. We will post the information on the PYSA Facebook page: (https://www.facebook.com/groups/PennridgeYellowjackets/) and on the PYSA website, as well as send out a blast email. Facebook will provide the quickest updates.

Q20. The games were cancelled but the weather is clear?

A. Weather is not the only factor in determining game cancellations.  Many times fields are saturated after heavy rains that make the field unplayable.

Q21. Are uniforms provided?

A. Full uniforms are provided for the Summer Intramural program.  Full uniforms include: jersey, shorts and socks. Coaches will distribute uniforms to the players.  For the Fall Intramural program, only jerseys are provided.

Q22. The uniform I ordered is the wrong size. Can I get a different size?

A. We will do all we can to try to help with uniform issues, but we cannot guarantee that a replacement will be provided.

Q23. What size ball do I need?

A. Ages 3–6: Size 3

     Ages 7–12: Size 4

     Ages 13–15: Size 5

Q24. What am I required to provide?

A. Please bring to every game / practice:

Please clearly mark all items with name as it makes it easier to identify your items should they be lost.

Q25. Where do I find something I lost while out on the fields?

A. Our lost and found is located at the snack stand. Items that are not claimed by the end of the intramural season will be donated to a worthy organization.

Q31. I Have not received any email, What's going on?

A. There could be several reason why you are not receiving emails. Depending on the SPAM filters on your email, it might be going there since our email module uses bulk email. Also, if you unsubscribed on a previous email, that prevents out system from sending email out to you at your request. If you would like to continue to receive emails, please inform us that you would like to receive emails.
