Week #2 Results

First of all, if you had a friend help us out, please thank them again for me. It was greatly appreciated. We played a very competative game vs a talented team and showed some come back tendacies which is always nice to see. We grapped the early lead on nice cross from Kelly to Joyce who finished it off with authority. Crystal Lake got the equalizer quicklly on a shot that just snuck under the crossbar. The half ended 1-1 and a scary note. Alex turned and hurt her knee. So far it's nothing serious but she has some more tests later in the week. Lets hope its just a twist or mild sprain ans she is back playing quickly.
CL came out in the 2nd half and sustained a lot of offensive pressure scoring 2 goals to go up 3-1. Thats when our come back started. We really turned up the offensive pressure and caused a foul in the box giving Addie an opportunity to take a penalty shot that she buried in the upper right corner. We kept up the preesure right up to the final whistle as their goalie had to make a nice save to end the game.
